A Seed KESTS would be a very small girth structure put in place roughly in the location of a full-sized KESTS. Based on the old principle of building a structure for use in "bootstrapping" construction materials along itself, scaling up the structure exponentially, each layer added to the small girth structure increases its ability to support larger layers progressively. 

Bootstrap construction from a seed initially emplaced structure for scaling up to operational capacity, has advantages of:

• Low energy and materials risk during initial efforts to build something where northing has been built before, expecting failures in the learning process
• Evaluation of real-world characteristics of the unique type structure, useful in optimizing toward eventual full scale structure
• Potential for pausing the scaling up process to deliver small amounts of payload
