December 2003, the year our float won a parade trophy, the "Tournament Volunteers Trophy"
Here I am in my white coat, pointing at the boot, covered in seaweed, a specialty I had in later years of float decorating. The size of this float can be noticed in this photo.
Here is a closeup of me in the above photo.
The Tournament Volunteer Trophy award plaque given me as a "white coat" leader in the decoration of this float, given to me by the Glendale Rose Float Association via Dave Weaver, our crew chief.
