KESTS to OHR Business

Need for such a business, competancy for creating it.

On this page are the ideals I suggest for the business of creating and achieving the KESTSOHR project's goals. Be aware that my credentials for specifying business principles are that I have essentially zero entrepeneurial or businessman's skills; even the basic "selling of things" is nearly impossible for me to do since childhood. The most I've done of that type is to do trading of things as a teenager, usually getting the worst of the deal. So perhaps that has prepared me to do this basically altruistic humanitarian thankless task.

Results up to the present time:

Observation: the KESTSOHR basic concepts have been placed where they can be found publically since 1988 in my GEnie network library files, and has been frequently brought up again wherever possible, in ever-refined form since then, including at forum at the Space Studies Institute conference at Princeton in 1997. The conceptual designs have also been available on my website here since 1996. But this obviously has not produced the necessary vigorous international effort to create the KESTSOHR to greatly expand civilization while restoring the Earth's surface ecosystem.^3,4,5,6
Current response by industry to KESTSOHR appears to tend to suppress it, instead of "full steam ahead" development of KESTSOHR. Presumably that is because KESTSOHR concepts to not fit in with contemporary ways of business. "Buy low and sell high" and "Get the most money for doing the least possible for civilization in return" -type processes won't achieve it, because they sap too much energy out of the overall business system.

Nonetheless, since I have the "right stuff" for the creation of the present state of the KESTSOHR project, I similarly do my best to provide initial directions for business to manifest it:

KESTSOHR BUSINESS PRINCIPLES

Make decisions based on scientific evidence of efficacy rather than on regional economics and cultural norms.^1,2
Everyone is to be fully compensated for whatever losses they experience due to the changes brought about by the implementation of the KESTSOHR project. And everyone is similarly to fully compensate the KESTSOHR project for the benefits they reap from changes brought about by the implementation of the KESTSOHR project.
Employment invention disclosure agreements written to only protect the company business from theft of that produced by the company. Additionally, employees' spontaneous ideas are to be documented and returned to the employees' ownership, and where feasable given company support in their research and development insofar as the originating employee requests.
Any "fame and fortune" energy is immediately plowed back into the KESTSOHR project, because maximum resources need to be used for maximum acceleration of the project; and there is no end of the project in sight, as even after the first ring of habitats (for perhaps the first 15 billion people) is completed in the Clarke Belt, additional ring layers can be built, and asteroidal and inner/outer planetary resources can more easily be accessed from the Clarke Belt thus and utilized increaingly on into the future. So no one amasses great wealth or power or fame from the KESTSOHR project; instead, a really good life is to be increasingly attained by all.
The OHR habitats need to be as earthlike as possible. The environmental average temperatures, pressures and humidity may be adjusted in some of the habitats to reflect varous ecological zones, for thriving of the diversity of species imported to the OHR from earthsurface. For each person living in the OHR, a comfortable, stimulating, beautiful environment is to be provided and maintained for loving families and also for those who have not yet found solid mates. This is to provide optimum creative work performance from each person as well as make life there most attractive.
KESTSOHR is to be considered an entity, much as is oneself, as is any corporation, or as is the whole Earth ecosystem; an entity which has a kind of "consciousness" of its own, that grows as the project grows. All entities are to be treated with honor and respect for whatever they are.
Maximizing human functionality for optimum performance is a major activity for the KESTSOHR project. One such process is the kinesiological balancing of each person, needing to be done as often as necessary, at least daily. These kinesiological proceses can apply to the individual's task type (such as working at a computer) or for full testing-feedback balances for personal and work goals. Optional time and environments for additional balances to be offered at breaktimes, too. Research/development/application of human potential maximization processes is to be part of the KESTSOHR project, as part of improving human functionality for optimum performance, so necessary for such an enormous project's finest manifestation.
